Abstract

Data has become a valuable resource, which demands a greater effort to understand it. The headmaster of Santa Monica Vocational High School deems such effort essential for preparing students to implement it in after graduation ventures. With this goal in mind, the community engagement activity was conducted on 22-08-2022 with a total of 23 participants for a duration of 120 minutes. Utilizing a variety of hardware and software instruments, workshop, discussion, and presentation methodologies were employed. Participants learned how data forms patterns and can be utilized for data visualization and the discovery of variable relationships. According to the results of the post-activity questionnaire, the activity's outcomes met its objectives. 100% of participants were able to implement the data visualization, 78% were able to identify patterns in the data, and 68% were able to interpret the relationships between variables.
